Position Overview
The Quality Manager’s focus will be on setting and achieving the highest standards for food safety and product quality within the food industry and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Quality Manager will report to the Operations Manager.
Key functions
- Build the Quality organization to meet production and customer needs
- Develop and manage the annual quality budget
- Insure proper training and development of all employees
- Oversee all food safety and regulatory compliance initiatives and legislation
- Lead customer and third party audits as appropriate
- Maintain quality system and certifications (RSPO, IFS, Kosher, Halal, organic)
- Management of HACCP-team
- Oversee the customer complaint and CAPA (Corrective Actions and Preventative Actions) processes using RCA (Root Cause Analysis) to continuously improve our products and our processes
- Oversee the Documentation function and requests made by the Customer
- Lead quality crisis and connect with HQ crisis team if needed
Qualifications
- Academics: BS Degree in Food Science, Micro-Biology, Chemistry or equivalent
- Preferably 10+ years of quality leadership in the Food industry
- You are fluent in Danish and English – written and spoken
- You are proficient in MS Office. Knowledge of SAP and/or Power BI is an advantage
- Strong analytic skills
- Strong organizational, planning and influencing skills
